I am a qualified Psychologist and Cognitive Behavior Therapist, and I specialize in helping individuals take control of their emotional well-being and unlock the strongest version of themselves.
Aparna has over 4 years of professional experience, working with individuals across
the age range of 4 to 45 years. Her clinical work includes supporting clients with
stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, academic
concerns, and other mental health-related conditions. She has served in multiple roles including Assistant Professor of Psychology, Transformation Coach, Consultant Psychologist, and School Counsellor. This
diverse background enables her to approach emotional concerns from both therapeutic
and educational perspectives, offering holistic and practical support.
Aparna’s therapeutic style is structured, supportive, and client-centred. She focuses on creating a safe and trusting space where clients can express themselves openly without fear of judgment. Sessions are guided by active listening, emotional awareness, and practical strategies rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with an emphasis on long-term emotional well-being rather than quick fixes. What You Can Expect in Sessions
• A calm, supportive, and confidential space
• Sessions guided by the client’s comfort, readiness, and goals
• Respect for individual pace, boundaries, and lived experiences
• Clear, gentle guidance offered with empathy and structure
Authentic Human Connection: I don’t believe in being a "blank wall." You can expect a genuine, engaged conversation where I bring my real self to the room. We may use humor, directness, and active dialogue to work through the tough stuff together.
Addressing Roots, Not Just Symptoms: While we will tackle your immediate stress, we also look beneath the surface. By understanding the "why" behind your patterns, we create lasting transformation instead of just a temporary fix.
Empowerment Toward Independence: My goal is to give you the tools to eventually become your own therapist. We work toward a future where you feel fully equipped to navigate life’s challenges using your own internal resilience.
Compassionate Accountability: I will gently highlight when your actions don't align with your stated goals. You can expect me to hold a mirror up to your patterns—always with kindness - to help you stay on the path you’ve chosen.
Integration Into Daily Life: Therapy doesn’t end when the session does. You can expect practical "takeaways" or small experiments to try during your week, helping you bridge the gap between our conversations and your real-world experiences.
